LAS VEGAS (Aug. 30, 2016) – Zylo, the leading platform for companies to manage and optimize subscription-based software, announced today its integration with identity management leader Okta, giving companies real-time insights into their corporate investment in software subscriptions.

Unveiled today at Oktane16, Okta’s annual customer conference, the integration brings Okta-powered usage data from applications like Salesforce, Adobe and Workday and more than 5,000 other cloud-based applications into Zylo to identify idle and underused software licenses and inform purchasing decisions and contract renewals.

“Zylo’s vision is to create the most powerful platform in the world to unlock the full potential of software as a service for customers, providers and users,” said Eric Christopher, Zylo’s chief executive officer. “Our unique integration with Okta brings Zylo customers even more ability to understand spend, utilization and feedback on their subscription software investment.”

Zylo’s integration with Okta’s identity management platform seamlessly integrates subscription software usage data of applications accessed or managed through Okta directly into Zylo’s platform. Data is immediately available to power SaaS application usage reports, contract renewal alerts with utilization details and real-time usage and license insights on Zylo’s centralized dashboard.

“We have instant visibility into our SaaS spend and under-utilized software solutions with the Zylo and Okta integration,” said Christopher Bruzzi, Appirio’s vice president of technology. “This gives my team the ability to have proactive and strategic conversations with internal software owners and SaaS vendors to realize the full potential of the software we purchase.”

Zylo’s new Okta integration is expected to become generally available to Zylo customers in Fall 2016. Customers of both companies can view a demonstration of the integration at Oktane through Wednesday at Booth 32.

“We’re focused on making it easier for our thousands of customers to securely access the applications and services they need to get work done from anywhere, at any time,” said Chuck Fontana, vice president of corporate & business development at Okta. “Together, Okta and Zylo make application data actionable. With this integrated solution, businesses now have additional insight into their SaaS spend and utilization.”

The announcement of the Okta integration follows the launch of Zylo’s SaaS optimization platform earlier this year. Since the launch, Zylo has doubled its team.
