TechPoint Announces Class of 2019 Tech 25
INDIANAPOLIS — Aug. 22, 2019 — High Alpha, a leading venture studio, announced today that Vice President, Human Resources Julia Kauffman has been named to the TechPoint Tech 25 Class of 2019.
Since joining High Alpha in 2018, Julia has helped launch and create 5 new High Alpha companies and recruited their founding teams. Her team has hired 56 employees in 2019 so far and supports seven companies, totaling nearly 100 employees, across the portfolio.
Prior to High Alpha, Julia spent five years at Salesforce, quickly rising from Compensation Analyst to a Sr. Manager and employee success business partner. She also sat on Salesforce’s Indy Site Council as a key leader in the Indianapolis Salesforce office. Prior to Salesforce, Julia’s expertise lies in compensation analysis, incentive plans, and salary structures.
In 2015, TechPoint, the growth accelerator for Indiana’s tech ecosystem, launched the Tech 25 Awards, a prestigious selection of twenty-five individuals who work the long hours, build the products, and run the projects that propel the business forward, but who — not being the CEO or other C-suite executives — don’t get celebrated publicly as often as they deserve.
Tech 25 honorees span a wide range of roles and were selected from three main categories: product development, sales/marketing, and “other.”
