INDIANAPOLIS — Aug. 19, 2021 — High Alpha, a leading venture studio, announced today that Director of Marketing Drew Beechler has been named to the TechPoint Tech 25 Class of 2021.
Since joining High Alpha in 2015, Beechler has played a critical role in the conception and launch of 30+ High Alpha Studio companies. In addition to company building, Beechler is responsible for leading all aspects of High Alpha’s brand and marketing strategy.
Prior to High Alpha, Beechler began his career as an intern at Studio Science, an agency founded by High Alpha Partner Kristian Andersen. He later joined the Orr Fellow and began his marketing career at ExactTarget, where he was hired under Scott Dorsey and stayed through their IPO and subsequent acquisition by Salesforce.
“Adding Drew to the leadership team at High Alpha has paid enormous dividends, His work ethic and creative impact have met and exceeded my every expectation,” said High Alpha Partner Kristian Andersen. “Drew has played an integral role in the conception and launch of a number of Indy’s most successful tech companies. He is passionate about Indianapolis, and I’m happy to see his impact on our city recognized by TechPoint.”
In 2015, TechPoint, the growth accelerator for Indiana’s tech ecosystem, launched the Tech 25 Awards, a prestigious selection of twenty-five individuals who work the long hours, build the products, and run the projects that propel the business forward, but who — not being the CEO or other C-suite executives — don’t get celebrated publicly as often as they deserve.
Tech 25 honorees span a wide range of roles and are selected from three main categories: product development, sales/marketing, and “other.”
