We use Google Analytics as a tool for tracking and analyzing its web traffic.  Google Analytics runs on High Alpha’s server and uses a combination of first-party cookies and Javascript code to compile information that is synthesized into reports about page visits, referring sites, user habits, and the like.  Google is not provided access to any user information other than IP addresses.  

Google has created an “Opt-out Browser Add-on” for users who wish to use websites while preventing their data from being accessed or used by Google Analytics.  If you want to opt out of the features on High Alpha.com that rely on Google Analytics, please follow the directions provided by Google here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/features

  • Facebook Pixel. We use Facebook Pixel to customize our advertising and to serve you ads on your social media based on your browsing behavior. This allows your behavior to be tracked after you have been redirected to our Website by clicking on the Facebook ad. The information collected via the Facebook Pixel on the Services, as well as other websites on which Facebook Pixel is installed, is also stored and processed by Facebook. Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and also use it for its own promotional purposes in accordance with Facebook’s Data Usage Policy. You can opt-out of displaying Facebook ads by visiting your Facebook Ad Settings, and you can clear and control the information third parties share with Facebook in your Off-Facebook Activity page.   • HubSpot. HubSpot provides inbound marketing and sales software that helps companies attract visitors, convert leads, and close customers. HubSpot's customers decide what types of data will be processed. This data may include personal data, entity data, navigational data (including website usage information), email data, system usage data, application integration data, and other electronic data submitted, stored, sent, or received by end users via the HubSpot services. HubSpot also collects similar information for its own use for marketing, sales, and other business operations. HubSpot relies on certain third parties contracted to provide parts of the HubSpot services on HubSpot's behalf.
  • Hotjar. We use Hotjar as a website heatmap and behavior analytics tool. Hotjar uses cookies, and these cookies analyze your page clicks, link clicks, time spent on a page, mouse movements, scrolling and anonymized keystrokes, and other content from the document object model in the website’s HTML to report anonymous website sessions. This information may be used to recreate individual visits to our Site or aggregate into heatmaps. The information generated by Hotjar cookies about your use of our Site will be encrypted and transmitted to data centers in Ireland in the European Union. Hotjar sets cookies on your browser when you visit a webpage with Hotjar tracking code. You can learn about the kinds of tracking cookies that Hotjar sets at this link. Hotjar allows session records to be created that contain pseudonymized IP addresses, device screen sizes, device types, browser information, mouse clicks, mouse movements, scrolling, and anonymized keystrokes. This opt out does not apply to information provided to High Alpha as a result of a transaction, or activity on the Site.

We will only use Personal Information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.

Response Timing and Format.

We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to an additional 45 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

If you have an account with us, we will deliver our written response to that account. If you do not have an account with us, we will deliver our written response by mail or electronically at your option.

Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request’s receipt. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your Personal Information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.

Non-Discrimination.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not:

  • Deny you goods or services;
  • Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits or imposing penalties;
  • Provide you with a different level or quality of goods or services; or
  • Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
