INDIANAPOLIS — Aug. 9, 2021 — High Alpha, a leading venture studio, is pleased to announce that High Alpha’s Senior HR Partner Hope Williams has been named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s (IBJ) 20 in Their Twenties Class of 2021.
Since joining High Alpha, Williams has quickly risen in her role and responsibilities, growing from an associate HR business partner to a senior HR business partner in under three years. Williams has supported 17 different companies and is a true business partner to executives and CEOs spanning the entire High Alpha portfolio. She believes in caring deeply about people, healthy cultures and employee development — and has shown how strategic HR practices can truly improve business results.
Prior to joining High Alpha, Williams began her career as an Orr Fellow at Appirio where she led efforts regarding worker experience and diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I). As Wipro acquired the Appirio in 2016, Williams helped the team during a pivotal period of massive organizational change.
In addition to her professional success, Williams has also given back to our local community as a mentor for Starfish Initiatives, a college access and readiness program serving economically disadvantaged high school students in Marcion County.
“When I met Hope, she was moving from Appirio to High Alpha within the Orr Fellowship program. I was so impressed with her maturity and experience — and had a sense that she could grow with our organization,” said High Alpha Managing Partner Scott Dorsey. “In addition to her stellar professional accomplishments, Hope is very involved in our community and always looking for opportunities to give back.”
This is the first year that the IBJ has recognized 20 central Indiana professionals in their twenties who are up-and-coming leaders in business, arts and culture, philanthropy and community service.
