On October 21, we welcomed Bonita C. Stewart and Jacqueline Adams to our October Speaker Series. Bonita and Jackie were joined by High Alpha Managing Partner Scott Dorsey, who facilitated a discussion about allyship, diversity and inclusion, and Bonita and Jackie's new book.

Bonita Stewart brings two decades of consumer technology experience to her role as Vice President, Global Partnerships at Google. Today, she oversees the company's Global Partnerships team for the largest US publishers across Search, Mobile Apps, Commerce, News, Broadcast, Telecommunications, and Domains.

Jackie Adams launched her "second career" as a communications strategist after two decades as an Emmy Award-winning CBS News correspondent. She was the first female African American White House Correspondent at CBS News. At her boutique consulting firm, J Adams Strategic Communications, she counsels a variety of corporate and non-profit clients, including Burson-Marsteller and the Ford Foundation.

Together, Bonita and Jackie have teamed up to write "A Blessing: Women of Color Teaming Up to Lead, Empower and Thrive." Their new book, which was released on October 15, is a mission-driven, realistic analysis of Black female leadership. "A Blessing" provides tools, data, and inspiration for entrepreneurial and corporate women of color as well as their allies — regardless of their race or gender.
