On May 28, Ron Klain joined High Alpha Managing Partner Scott Dorsey for a virtual Speaker Series. They discussed Ron's Indianapolis roots, his early career and venture role at Revolution, and his perspective on COVID-19.
Ron is Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Revolution. Revolution and the Rise of the Rest, founded by Steve Case, invests in innovative entrepreneurs outside of Silicon Valley, New York, and Boston — including High Alpha companies Base, Structural, Anvl, and Zylo.
Ron also served as the White House Ebola Response Coordinator from October 2014 to February 2015. Earlier, he served as Chief of Staff to Vice Presidents Joe Biden and Al Gore, and as a Senior Aide to President Barack Obama. Ron was also a Partner and National Practice Group Chair at O’Melveny & Myers LLP and was named one of National Law Journal’s “Lawyers of the Year.” Ron began his legal career as a Law Clerk to Supreme Court Justice Byron R. White, and later served as Chief Counsel of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
