Today, we’re excited to announce High Alpha Capital’s latest investment in Fuzic, an on-site marketing platform, as a part of their $3M seed round announced earlier today. We were thrilled for the opportunity to partner with them and invest alongside Allos Ventures and Hyde Park Venture Partners in this round.
Fuzic is an on-site marketing platform for custom audio advertising and licensed music for location-based businesses of all sizes and industries. The company allows business owners to control music, messaging, and advertising all while customizing content for each location. Fuzic gives companies access to professional voice talent and allows business to record and play within hours of request.
Fuzic’s product is particularly interesting to us at High Alpha as it addresses a main area of interest to High Alpha — emerging marketing technology. Fuzic is an innovative marketing technology platform that is using audio for content dissemination. The martech landscape continues to grow, but one area that has remained largely unsaturated is audio. Fuzic is tapping into this new marketing channel and allowing businesses to advance the way they interact with their customers. It’s exciting to see where this will take Fuzic.
Fuzic has grown incredibly fast over the past few months under the leadership of Brent Oakley and Nathan Miller. The company launched in November 2016 and is now operating in over 300 location-based businesses. Early product adoption has branched across industries including retail, restaurants, fitness centers, family fun parks, car washes, and car dealerships. This quick growth and customer adoption has validated Fuzic’s product and mission and gives us great confidence for future success.
